HOCKEY EXECUTIVE.
The executive committee of the Feilding Hockey Association met last evening, Mr R. G. Guy presiding. Mr S. Chesterfield was appointed delegate to the annual meeting of the New Zealand Women’s Hockey Association at Wellington next month. At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Men’s Association Mr Squires will represent the Feilding Association. It was decided to open tho 1939 coni|>ctition.s on the last Saturday in April, and Messrs Guy, E. A. Garlick and T. Tricklebank were appointed a grounds and emergency committee. Mr Tricklebank was chosen as tournament secretary. A subscription list for two injured players was placed before players last season and as the unfortunate members are still on the sick list subscriptions are again to be solicited.
