LAWN TENNIS.
During the week-end St. Brigid s Tennis Club were engaged in a match with the Apiti Club at Apiti. r lhe visitors were entertained at lunch, etc., and the match resulted in a win for St. Brigids players the number of sets being equal at twelve, but Apiti won fewer games than their opponents, who won the decision oil that account. The following players represented St. Brigid’s: Ladies, Misses F. Price. N. Hendry, M. Hughes, B. Sporle, P. Avery, Mrs Devve; men, H. Dewe, K. Julian, Bosnian, Cherry, K. Haybittle.
