SECOND DAY AT AWAPUNI ENTAIL SPRINGS A SURPRISE The Manawatu Racing Club’s autumn meeting, which opened very successfully yesterday, was continued to-day in brilliantly fine weather. The track was again firm and fas . The course amenities were in beautiful order, and a pleasant day was spent by the exceptionally large crowd who attended. ~ Splendid racing was again provided, the principal handicap event being the Tamatete Handicap, while the piek ot the Dominion’s two-year-olds took part in the juvenile classic, the Manawatu Sires’ Produce Stakes.
