RUMANIAN TREATY
GERMAN DOMINANCE. SERIOUS BRITISH VIEW. FEARS EOR CONSEQUENCES. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph.—Cony right.) (Independent Cable Service.) Received March 25, 10.25 a.m. LONDON, March 24. Both political and commercial circles in London take a most, serious view of live RumanianGerman trade pact, believing that Rumania has now passed into the orbit of Germany, which henceforth will dominate her completely, despite Rumania’s maintaining a semblance of independence. The pact is generally regarded as the biggest move in the drive to the east and will possibly have a catastrophic effect on the “peace front” plans, as it may influence the other Balkan countries to throw in their lot with Herr Hitler.
