WHITE BUTTERFLY FEARED.
AUSTRALIAN REGULATIONS. DOMINION EXPORTS AFFECTED. CANBERRA, March 23. Regulations gazetted to-day prohibit the importation of a wide range of vegetables from New Zealand unless certified to come from areas free from the, white butterfly. The vegetables affected are: Cabbage, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, turnips, radishes, and similar classes subject to infection by the butterfly. The lifting of the embargo to allow the importation into Australia of 1000 tons of potatoes is also gazetted to-day.
