SOMEWHERE IN GERMANY.—During the recent attacks on Jews and other anti-Nazis in Germany, such pictures as above were sold as souvenirs. But when the humiliations were banned, the pictures were ordered to be confiscated and destroyed. Upper left, a Storm Trooper compels a man to take a broom to sweep the street. Upper right, he starts work on the pavement while a neighbour has to scrub a wall. Bottom, after the street cleaning, the man is ordered to push the refuse cart away. In this case he is resisting, but Storm Troopers make his efforts futile.
