ulrs . S. Triggs, of Grey Street, is staying with her parents, Mr and Mrs H. N. Stewart, of Havelock North.
Her friends will he pleased to learn that Mns C. V. Qiochetto, of Martin Street, who is at present in hospital, is now progressing very favourably. Miss C. M. Gillies, of the staff of the Palmerston North Girls’ High School, will sail from Wellington for London to-morrow. Mrs H. Sanderson, of Hamilton,- who has been staying in Palmerston North, left for Christchurch yesterday.
Guests of Mrs C. Louisson, of North Street, for the races are Misses Ruth Wheeler and Dorothy Kelly, Messrs W. Gibbons, H. Matthews, j. Rutherford, Billings and I. Louisson, all of Wellington. A surprise party organised by a number of friends, visited Mrs E. Dymock, who is shortly leaving on a visit to England, at her home in Ruahine Street, last evening. A very pleasant time was spent, the gathering being quite informal.
