LINTON.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) LINTON, March. 21. The Whitmoro Road Sunday School hold their annual picnic in Air D. Hoiioro’s paddock by the Knhut.crawa Stream last Saturday. Favoured with an ideal day some fifty-five people gathered happily together for an enjoyable time. Most of it was spent in swimming, while races and games for both young’ and old were also hold. A plentiful supply of ice creams, cooling drinks, sweeis and fruit was served out to all. After the picnic lunch was partaken of, Rev. J. Walker gave a short address, and the children present sang some choruses which sounded very nice as they were all seated in the shade on the bank of the rippling stream. . Air and Airs P. Sheridan left on holiday on Wednesday. Mr and Airs Bcrquist and family have taken up their residence in Union, where Air Bcrquist is employed by the Kairanga County Council.
