AN OFF MORNING. TOP ROW SPRINTS. TBy “Spectator.”) Except for a gallop over half a mile on the plough by Top Row and Aranui, who covered tho distance in 54 sec., it was an off morning at the Awapuni track to-day. However, Royal Chief, Entail, Submission, Prudent Prince, Gayest Son, Big Dock, Settlement, The Crooner, .Sudan, Riotous, Dainty Sue, and many other horses were given pacework, Royal Chief being allotted a lairly strung task. Submission did not start at Wellington owing to Buffering from swollen glands, but appears to have got over this trouble. RIDING ENGAGEMENTS.
