The Defence Department lias announced the completion of a nationwide protective network against sabotage in the event of war. All industnal plants and public buildings will be guarded. The plan includes the complete surveillance of all aliens. TORONTO, March 20.

The Premier (Mr Mitchell Hepburn) in the Legislature, is sponsoring a resolution that the Dominion Government should take cognisance of the fact of the European crisis and call for immediate action on the part of the component parts of The Empne to support any action which is deemed necessary by the Imperial Council.
