Denouncing the seizure of Czechoslovakia as wanton and unjustifiable the Prime Minister, in the House o Commons, declared amidst cheers that if anv aggressor attacks Britain li would* have no doubt about what the decision of the Canadian people and the Canadian Parliament would be. Cartful a was ready for the fullest consultation with Britain and the Empire. Dr Manion (Conservative Leader) j Q a statement earlier pledged the
fullest co-operation and the full resources ol his party to the Government in the event of a crisis. The Defence Department lias announced the completion of a nationwide protective network against sabotage in the event of war. All industnal plants and public buildings will be guarded. The plan includes the complete surveillance of all aliens. TORONTO, March 20.
The Premier (Mr Mitchell Hepburn) in the Legislature, is sponsoring a resolution that the Dominion Government should take cognisance of the fact of the European crisis and call for immediate action on the part of the component parts of The Empne to support any action which is deemed necessary by the Imperial Council.
