Marshal Badoglio has gone to Tripoli for a special survey of Italy’s defences in North Africa.

'ROME, Feb. 20. The reinforcement of the French garrison in Somaliland is regarded in official circles as “making worse an already dangerous situation.” It is strongly indicated that Italy _ will take “adequate precautionary military measures.”
