ELECTRICITY ACCOUNTS.
CITY COUNCIL’S POSITION. Gross revenue received by the Palmerston North City Council’s electricity department for the nine months of the financial year ended on December 31 was £56,642, an increase of £4091 compared with the corresponding month of last year, it was reported 0 to the meeting of the council last evening. The balance to the net revenue "account was shown at £25,081. compared with £23,161, an increase of £1920. The trading account showed a profit to the net revenue account of £3Ol 10s lid as against £l6l 15s. The net revenue account showed a balance to the appropriation account of £16,618 9s 10d, as against £14,427 0s 8d for the same period last year. j
