BRITAIN HEADS LIST.
Received February 20. 9.50 a.m. PARIS, Feb. 19. Suez Canal traffic for 1938 was as follows : Tons Britain 17.358,000 Italy ... 4,620,000 Germany .. 3,135.000 Holland 3 ’?7o’^n France 1,748,000 Total 34.418.000 The total showed a drop of 2,073.000 tons. Italian traffic decreased by onefifth. In 1937 a largo volume of Italian trailie utilised the canal in connection with the transportation of men and arms for the Abyssinian campaign.
