ARMY REORGANISATION.
DRASTIC ACTION BY CZECHS. PRAGUE, Feb. 18. General Krcjei (Chief or the General Staff), who was the organising genius of Czechoslovakia’s military machine, has resigned, ostensibly owing to illhealth.
An Independent Cable Service message says the resignation of General Krejci is only one of many signs of a complete reorganisation and drastic reduction of the Czechoslovak Army which the Government is now effecting. The officers’ corps is almost halved and the Budget defence estimates reduced by 10,000,000.000 Czech crowns.
