31. BERARD IN BURGOS. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) Received February 20, 8.5 a.m. BURGOS, Feb.. 19. The French envoy, Senator Berard, after liis arival from Paris, had a two hours’ interview with General Jordan (Nationalist Foreign Minister), alter which he said the Nationalist Government was willing to facilitate the resumption of the railway and other services, but its attitude to political issues was more reserved. Nevertheless, he is satisfied with his friendly reception and hopes for a satisfactory outcome of his mission.
