Mr and Mrs G. Short have returned to Palmerston North after a camping holiday at Jtaumati beach. Mr and Mrs H. Kissling, of Manapouri Crescent, have returned home trom Paekakariki.
Mrs P. Bennett, of New Plymouth, "ho is at present in Palmerston ■North, will visit her aunt, Mrs Elgar, of Featherston, bciore returning home.

C. Wickham, of Wanganui (Donii nion president), A. 13. Smith (Wellington), Dominion secretary, C. C. Jackson (Masterton), Dominion treasurer, J. A. Harris (Turahina), Dominion vice-president, C- Tv. M ilson (Piopio), past Dominion president and member of the advisory Jxiard, J. Lamplough (Inglewood), Byburg (South Auckland), J. Livingston (Hawke’s Bay) and Beu (members of the advisory board). : “I cannot conclude without reference to the Palmerston North ladies’ committee, headed by Mrs H. E. Pac-oy as chairwoman, whose invaluable help alone made it possible for the Trustees to manage Girls’ Flock House. Mrs Fa coy is at present ill in Wellington and we extend to her our sincere hopes for her speedy recovery,” said Mr E. Newman, when speaking at the official opening of “Kaianga Moe,” the W.D.F.U.rest home at Awapuni, on Saturday, on behalf of the former owners, the Flock House Trustees. I ; 1 ; ■ 1
