Making 63 in the first innings of their match against Combined Services in the junior A grade, Kia Toa were eventually beaten by 13 runs. Their opponents put on 166 runs in their initial strike. Optimists also registered an eightpoint win in their match with United, the latter being dismissed for 40 in their second innings. Kcmpson took seven wickets for 12 runs. Palmerston beat Public Services by 5 wickets. Public Service’s first innings realised 82 and Palmerston’s 60. In their second innings Public Service mn.de 83 (Gilder 18, Barrett 11).
