MANAWATU COMPETITIONS. MURCHISON IN FORM. Under somewhat windy weather conditions, flic Manawatu cricket competitions were continued on Saturday. In the senior A division a new series of matches was commenced while senior B and junior A matches, started the previous week, were completed. The top score of the clay was recorded l>v J. M.urchison, who knocked up 70, while T. Downes showed his ability with the hall, taking five wickets for 59 runs. Hearsay, another City bowler, performed the lint-trick.
