The demolition of the old Dominion Museum building in Wellington lias been begun preparatory to clearing the site for the erection of Broadcasting House. This building, said to bo 73 years of age, is perh.aps the oldest Government structure in Wellington, except perhaps some of the buildings at Mt. Cook, notably the stables in Tasman Street, which are said to have been erected in the early ’6o’s of last century.
