DOMINION’S BEAUTY.

QUEST BY AMERICAN. Per. Press Association. _ AUCKLAND, Feb. 17. Having leisure to make such a cruise and with pleasant memories of other vacations in the Pacific to _ encourage him, the owner of the visiting American pleasure schooner, Navigator, Mr G. Harton Singer, junr., of Pittsburgh, who arrived at Auckland to-day, had no hesitation in coming half-way across the world to test the attractions of New Zealand. He said he would not be satisfied with his present holiday if he was not able, to see as many of the country’s beauty sports and tourist resorts as possible. Accompanying him were a party of guests. While in New Zealand, Mr Singer hopes to sail in the Navigator round both North and South Islands, though this part of the proposed itinerary depends upon time available. However, both he and his guests will visit as many of the country’s thermal districts and glaciers as they can and will also spend some time trout and big-game fishing.
