FAREWELL PARTY.

Mr J. Cope, who is shortly leaving for Wellington where he intends to enter . Victoria "University College, was farewelled at a very happy party given at the residence of Mrs N. Fewer, 'of College Street, last evening, the host and hostesses heing Mr Brian Graves and Misses Patricia Lewer and Margaret Gow. The lounge looked most attractive with bowls of glowing marigolds and lilies, and the dining room, which was cleared for dancing, was also decorated with marigolds. Mr R. Millar was responsible for the music. Mrs Lewer received the guests, wearing a charming frock of black with 1 a floral design. Miss Lewer was in tan with a swathed green saalh, and Miss Gow wore black with a floral figured pattern.
