A RECIPE.
CREAMED FISH. Take 2 cupfuls cold flaked fish, | teaspoonful onion juice, 2 tablespoonfuls butter, 1 cupful hot milk, J teaspoonful salt, 2 tablespoonfuls flour, -J cupful breadcrumbs, dash of pepper. Make a sauce with the butter, flour, and hot milk and cook in the top of a double boiler. Add salt, pepper, and onion juice, and stir until mixture is like thick cream. Place a layer of the fish in the bottom of a greased fireproof dish. Cover with half the sauce, then remainder of fish. Pour over remainder of the sauce, sprinkle with breadcumbs, dab with butter, and bake until brown in a hot oven. Sufficient for three. To make a faded velour lounge suite like new proceed as follow: Buy a dye to match the material; scald it in boiling water, and allow it to get cold. Dip a nail-brush into the _ mixture and brush the suite with it.
