FOUR PERSONS INJURED
CAR STRIKES POLE,
A motor-car proceeding to the racecourse at Woodville, to-day, ancl driven by John Henry Thomson, of Wellington, who had as passengers i etei Edward Warner, Leslie GledhiH ana Eric Weavers, all of Wellington, was involved in an accident near the residence of Mrs C. Munns in McLean Street. The car passed a horse float, and in doing so, got into some loose metal. The car skidded across tne road and collided with an electric pole. The result was that all the occupants sustained injuries, and had to be receive medical treatment. They eventually returned to Wellington. lb® car was considerably damaged.
