VAN DRIVER’S DEATH.

COLLISION IN WELLINGTON. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Feb. 18. Archibald Beattie, aged 29, married, suffered he.-ul injuries from which he died in hospital two and a-half hours later when the postal van he was driving collided with a private car at Seaton n shortly before 8 a.m. to-day. The vail, which was being used to convey artillerymen from Palmer Hood to Fort Dorset, and contained four other men, overturned. No one else was injured, and neither vehicle was badly damaged.
