PHYSICAL FITNESS
At a meeting of the local Physical Fitness Week Committee it was resolved that the cavalcade to be held on Saturday of next week would leave from the Opera House at 12.30 p.m. Mr W. G. Black commented that this parade would probably he larger than anything previously held in 1 almcrston North.' Two bands have been engaged for the monster dance, which will continue until midnight. The supper 'will be served on the cafeteria principle. A postponement committee, comprising the Mayor (Mr A. E. Mansford), and Messrs Black, r. E. Sherwood, N. Cook and J. Eagle, was appointed.
