DANNEVIRKE ELECTRIC POWER . BOARD. NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. Notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Dunnevirko Electric-Power Board held on Tuesday, the 24th January, 1939. the following Resolution, of which due notice had been given, was passed, viz:— “in pursuance and exercise of the power vested in it by Section 15 of the Finance Act (No. 2) 1936, the Dannevirke Electric-Power Board hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows: « For the purpose of providing additional monies for the further reticulation of the Dannevirke Elec-tric-power District, the Dannevirke Electric Power Board hereby authorises the raising of a loan of Thirty-five thousand pounds (£33,000) at three, and one-half per centum (3j per cent) per annum for a period of twenty-fivo (25) years. The said loan or any part thereof together with interest thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate half-yearly instalments extending over the term of the loan.” And Notice is hereby given that the above resolution will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the Dannevirke Electric-Power Board to be held on TUESDAY, the 28th February", 1939. at the Board’s Offices, Gordon Street, Dannevirke, at 10 a.mi And further Notice is hereby given in accordance with the requirements of Section 15 of the Finance Act (No. 2) 1936 that no monies shall be borrowed in accordance with the resolution set out above if, before the 28th February 1939, not less than five per centum of the total ratepayers whoso names aro inscribed on the rateoayers rolls of the several constituent districts by writing under their hands delivered or sent, by post to the office of the Dannevirke Electric-Power Board at Dannevirko demand that a poll shall be taken on the pronosals.
