500 WAR ’PLANES
PURCHASES BY FRANCE. AMERICAN MANUFACTURE. 00,000,000 DOLLARS SPENT. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) Received .February 10, H. 5 a.m. WASHINGTON, Feb. 10. The French Embassy has announced that the air mission, which has been visiting America, has purchased (Aver 500 new war 'planes from the United States, besides the 100 ’planes ordered last year. Thu companies involved are the Douglas, Curtis, Glen Martin and North American. The prices have not been announced, but it is understood that they amount to over 60,000,000 dollars.
