PERSONAL.
Mrs G. W. Fairley, accompanied hy her son. Mr G. D. Fairley, is on a holiday visit to the South Xsland. Visitors to Papatawa who are the guests of either relatives or friends are Mrs Tansev (Wnipukurau), Miss Vera Pay, Miss Jordan, Mrs W. Sutherland, and Mrs J. Standidge, of Wellington. Mr and Mrs lan Mack-ay. of Kumeroa, have returned from Wellington. The former, who recently underwent a serious operation, is making a good recoverv. Mr V. A. Rowe, of the P. and T. Department, is at present on his annual leave, and Mr F. J. Williams, of the same department, who has been on holiday, has resumed duty. Mr 11. A. Pilcher is spending a few days at Iluntly.
