ART TREASURES.

ARRIVAL AT GENEVA. GENEVA, Feb. 14. The Spanish art treasures the property of the Loyalists, arrived to-day in two special trains made up of 52 trucks guarded by machine-guns. There are 1100 articles including paintings by Velasquez, Goya, El Greco. Murillo, and 800 sixteenth century Flemish tapestries. The work of Velazquez includes many portraits of Philip IV of Spain and members of his court. Goya's three most famous sets of etchings, Los Caprichos, the Tauromaquia, and Los Desastres de la Guerra —the last inspired by Napoleon's invasion—express his mordantly satirical genius almost better than his paintings. Greco is the name by which the painter Domenico Theotocopuli is known. Murillo was another famous Spanish painter.
