PRISONERS SENTENCED
Per Press Association. WANGANUI, Feb. 15. The following prisoners were sentenced by Mr Justice Reed to-day: Robert AVakefield Harris, a land agent and farmer, for a breach of the Bankruptcy Act in failing to keep proper books of account, one month without hard labour; Lena Clapperton. theft-, 12 months’ probation; Paddy Alai Alanu, failure to stop after an accident, was ordered to come up for sentence within 12 months and to nay costs £7 6s 3d ; Bertie Ataurice Cox Gordon and Algernon Lambert, a.ged 18, for breaking and entering and theft, probation for three years, each being ordered to pay costs £ls.
