ROSEHILL GUINEAS WINNER

Aeolus, who showed promising form last spring, has been sold to the Maharajah of Kolhapur, and was due to go to India this week. Tho colt was owned by Messrs R V. and T. D. Gove, and it was in response to a cable from Mr R. V. Gove, who ie in India, that the eale was effected.

Aeolus was bought at auction in Sydney for 1600 guineas, and then was purchased privately by Messrs Gove. Having his first start in their • colours, he was eucceseful in tho Rosehill Guineas, and was second to Nuffield in the A.J.C. Derby.

After the V.R.C. spring meeting Aeolus was given a epcll. He returned to work about a month ago, and has developed into a splendid colt.
