HOUSEHOLD HUNTS.

Parchment lamp shades require little dusting if they are well cleaned every six months with a good furniture cream. The cream keeps the parchment in good cdrulition. To keep your draining-board or bread-board clean and white, use a glove-mitt of the kind used for scouring saucepans. The dirt comes off easily. leaving the board very white. When the top of the milk bottle gets lost or destroyed, an egg-cup inverted makes an excellent cover, keeping the dust and germs out. Keep your old broken combs. After washing your brooms and brushes, dry them in the sun,, and then run tluj comb through their “hair.” They will be quite new-looking and last much longer.
