Their opponents replied with 183 (Childs 68, Thompson 49, McGregor 19, Forster 15; Wilde 8 for 30). Railway were dismissed for 149 in their second ‘strike (Symes 28, Evans 25, Brown 22; Over 4 for 27). The hotel side replied with 135 (Childs 46. Thompson 21, Pearson 15. C. McSweeney 13, Watt 11; Ddks 3 for 72).
