Scotland Yard officials raided houses in Highgate and Ilford to-day and seized about two tons of explosives.

Marv and Nona Glenn, two sisters, aged 22 and 18 respectively, were remanded at Manchester to-day, being charged with unlawful possession of a barrel of potassium chlorate, a hun-dred-weight of black iron oxide, two Mills bombs, 49 sticks of gelignite, electric detonators, and. an alarm clock fitted with an electric connection.
