Received January 24, 11.30 a.m. LONDON. Jan. 23. The Penlee lifeboat returned to-day, reporting no trace of the St. Ives crew. The Lifeboat Association .announces that tho families of those drowned will receive a pension. . „ The crew were commanded by a oo-yo-ar-old coxswain, Mr Thomas Cocking, whoso crew in 15 months had saved 66 lives. Those drowned include Mr Cocking s son and son-in-law, also two brothers named Barber.
