MANAWATU ASSOCIATION. WOMEN’S TITLE DECIDED. Though the finals in the women’s section were completed, those in the men’s section were not,, when the Manawatu Lawn Tennis Association’s residential championships tournament was continued in excellent weather yesterday, and it is hoped to bring the remaining matches to finality by Saturday next. Airs F. Clark won the women’s singles title, beating the former holder, Airs V. Ho bin. Airs Clark also won the handicap singles. Airs Anderson and Atiss Hnggitt took the women’s handicap doubles.
