INCORRECT PARKING.
AN EXAMPLE MADE. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Jan. 24. “You arc just starting to take proceedings in these cases?” asked the Magistrate (Mr J. L. Stout), when the police prosecution was describing how a motorist laid obstructed the footpath by parking his car so that the rear portion extended over the kerb. The answer was in the affirmative, with an explanation that warning notices on ears did not reach the majority, and the prosecution was brought with a view to drawing the attention of motorists to the matter. A conviction was entered with the payment of costs.
