A weak depression is crossing the Dominion. The tropical cyclone is now centred near the Chatham Islands, but is having little effect on New Zealand. Forecast.—Moderate to strong northwest to west winds, with a temporary change to south-westerly to-night. A few isolated showers possible, but the weather will he mainly fair. Temperatures cooler. Seas moderate to rather rough.
