QUIET MARKET.
BUTTER AT HOME. BUYERS ACCUMULATE STOCKS. Received January 23, 9.3 d a.m. LONDON, Jan. 22. The commodity markets are dull. In the butter market the majority of buyers have recently accumulated stocks with the result that the market has quietened. Some reselling has affected prices, but an appreciable break is not expected. The cheese market is featureless.
Indications of an increase in the Home supplies of eggs have made a tendency for lower values.
