HITLER’S WISHES DEFINED
MINISTER’S BERLIN VISIT

An official spokesman said today that M. Chvalkov'-sky (Czech Foreign Minister) was given to understand in the course of his talks with Herr Hitler and Herr von Rippentrop (Foreign Minister) that: there should be no room in Czechoslovakia for a policy directed against Germany. M. Chvalkovsky is stated lo have fully endorsed this view and assured Herr Hiller of his loyal co-operation.
The spokesman added that M. Chvalkovsky had doubtless returned home impressed with the necessity for strengthening economic relations with the Sudetenland and contributing his share towards an amicable settlement of Czechuslova.kion-Hungarian relations.
