BRITAIN’S UNFLAGGING AID. Received January 23. 8.5 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 22. Lhe efforts of the British public to alleviate personal suffering and repair the social dislocation caused by the racial, religious and political intolerance and persecution in Central show 110 sign of flagging. , nn-® a ' c * w ' n s has now reached £374.334. The fund raised by the Council for German Jewry now totals £608.961, including £21,700 from the South African appeal. In February an appeal will be •lunched by the Society for the Protection of Science and 1/earning for a special fund for tho assistance of academic refugees.
