CHRISTIAN SCIENCE CHURCHES.

‘■'Truth” was the subject of the Les-son-Sermon in all Churches of Christ, Scientist, on Sunday. The Golden Text was Dent- 32: 3. 4: “Ascribe ye greatness unto our God. He is the Rock, His work is perfect; for all His ways are judgment; a God of Truth and without iniquity, just and right is Tie.” Among the citations which comprised the Lesson-Sermon were the following from the Bible: “Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth !>e glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof. Lot the field be joyful, and all that- is therein ; then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice before the Lord: for He cometh. for He eometh to judge the earth; He shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people, with His truth.” (I’sa. 96: n-12,'1 Also the following passages from the Christian Science textbook. “Science and Health with Kev to the Scriptures,” by Mary Baker Eddy: “The material world is even now Incoming the arena for conflicting forces. On one side there will be discord and dismay ; on the other side there will he Science and peace. The breaking up of material beliefs may seem to be famine and pestilence, want and woe, sin,-sickness, and death, whidii assume new phases until their nothingness appears. Those disturbances will continue until the end of error, when all discord will l>o swallowed up in spiritual Truth.” (p 9G.)
