IRRIGATION IN NORTH
Per Pi ■ess Association. DARGAYILLE. Jan. 21. Details of proposals for a comprehensive water supply scheme designed for the Ruawni district, and also embracing the Borough of Dargaviile and portions of Hobson County, have been formulated. The estimated cost is £247,000. The scheme provides for a supply of water to every settler within an estimated area of 50.300 acres. The question will be fully discussed at a conference between the local bodies and district engineer shortly.
