SENIOR COMPETITION. BARLTIIOP AND JAMES BOWL WELL. favoured with glorious sunshine, with a tempering breeze, conditions were ideal for the cricket matches played on .Saturday at Kowhai Park, when new senior games opened between Public Service and Old Boys and Nomads ami Bedding. A feature was Ihe splendid bowling by Barltrop and James, and a good batting efl'orl by G.
