PERSONAL.
Mr F. Williams, of the loo.nl Post and Telegraph Office, commenced his annual leave on Saturday. Mr S. Wilson is spending a fortnight’s holiday at Ashhurst as the guest of Air and Mrs Eaton. Messrs J. C. S r -ott and T). Davidson, of the local railway staff, are on their annual leave. Air M'. J. Hawkes. president of the Bowling Club, who has been an inmate of the Dannovirke Hospital for several weeks, visited the local green on -Saturday afternoon where he rema'.ned for a time as an interested spectator of the Dixon Cup match Accompanied by a relative. Miss E. Hunt, of Uangiotu, Alins B. Gntlm rd. of the 10-eal staff of the Dannevirke Power Board, leaves this week on her annual holiday which will be spent at Xew Plvmouth and in AVellington.
