MAN A WATT'S INDIFFERENT START.
The first challenge for the goldfinch and Cousins Cup this season was played between Manawatu Colts and Eeilding and was begun on a batsmen’s wicket. The Colts won the toss and G. Cameron (captain) elected to hat. At the luncheon adjournment they had lost seven wickets for 88 runs. On the resumption they carried their score to 116 to he all out by 2.30 p.in.
