NEWSPAPERMAN KILLED.
MOTOR RALLY TRAGEDY. Received January 23. 8.5 a.in. PARIS, Jan. 21. The Australian-born Major It. Calvert Erapson, who was covering the Monte Carlo motor rally for Allied Newspapers with Mrs Kay Petrie, crashed into a lorry at the crossroads in Am-berieu-en-Bugey, to-day, and was killed instantly. Mrs Petrie was admitted to hospital in a serious condition.
