N. Morris, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court on a charge of making false declarations under the Employment Promotion Act. Arthur Elaveli, of Maropiu, was fined the amount of excess payments, £33 13s 9cl and costs 10s, and George AVa.rn, of Runwai, who received excess payments amounting to £l7 17s sd, was lined £2O and costs 10s.
