Per Press Association. DARGAVILLE,. Jan. 20. Two Maori relief workers, both supplying local dairy companies, one in his wife’s name, and the other in his daughter’s name, pleaded guilty Imfore Mr G. N. Morris, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court on a charge of making false declarations under the Employment Promotion Act. Arthur Elaveli, of Maropiu, was fined the amount of excess payments, £33 13s 9cl and costs 10s, and George AVa.rn, of Runwai, who received excess payments amounting to £l7 17s sd, was lined £2O and costs 10s.
