While the entry of fat sheep was not. as large as last week's, the quality and prices were on a (>ar and a good clearance was effected. A pen of five lambs on account O. O. Ellcrm made 15s. N. J. Although the good entry of station cattle was not all disposed of at auction, a number of private sales resulted in a fair clearance being mado at prices which showed tho market to be firm at lute rates. A pen of Hereford cows offered on account of D. Rowe realised £6 12s, while S. Teaz disposed of nino bullocks at £7 13s. R. E. Barton’s Hereford steers made £4 17s. A good pen of P.A. bullocks made £IG ss, and P.A. steers £7 10s. Five year-' ling P.A. heifers changed hands at £3 18s and 18 2-yr at £5. Two-year P.A. steers mado £7 10s. STORE CATTLE. Tho entry of boner cows and heifers commanded the usual attention, and prices were maintained at last week’s level. Quotations: Cows, £3 2s 6d, £3 ss, £3 10s, £3 15s, £4, £4 ss, £4 7s 6d, £4 11s to £4 17s 6d; heifers, £3 to £3 17s 6d. DAIRY CATTLE. Tho prices realised in tho dairy cattle section for springing heifers were as follow, there being a small representation in this section; £3 17s, £4, £4 ss, £4 10s, £5, £6, £6 ss, £6 10s, £6 15s, £7, £7 10s, £7 15s, £8 7 S 6d. FAT CATTLE. Fat calLlc, mostly ex-dairy sorts, utilised many penH and the competition was good, prices showing a slight improvement on last week’s realisations. L. A. J. Henson disposed of three cows at £6, £7 and £6 17s 6d. F. J. Roddy secured £6 10s for a pen of five Hereford cows. P. A. heifers offered on account of 1,. A. J. Henson sold at £6 9s and £7 17s 6d. J. D. Lilburnc disposed of 7 cows at £3 17s 6d, £4 15s, £5, £5 ss, £6, £7 5s and £7 15s. W. J. Jintwislc’s five bullocks made £9 12s.
