7 Mrs H. N. Wilson is a Palmerston North visitor to Wellington.
Mr and Mrs H. Findlay Wilson, of Mere Mere Avenue, have returned from Hawke's liny. Mr and Mrs W. V. Hobin, Miro Street, have returned home after a month’s motor tour of the South Island.
Misses E. and N. Coulter, of Palmerston North, have left on a holiday to Auckland and Waitomo.
Mrs A. Wilson, of Auckland, and Mrs It. Cockerton, of Itotorua, have been the guests of Mr and Mrs G. Syversen, Longburn.
Mr and Mrs F. Slater have returned to Palmerston North after a fishing holiday at Whangaroa. Mrs P. F. O’Connor, of Ferguson Street, and her daughter, Miss Kitty O’Connor, and son, Mr 13. M. O’Connor, are visiting Wellington.
Mrs E. Stevens, who has been staying with Mrs G. H. Blanche, of Monrad Street, has left for her home in Christchurch.
Mr and Mrs H. P. Kay, of College Street, returned yesterday from a holiday spent at Pclorous Sound.
Miss H. Comrie, who has been nurse inspector for the Wcllington-Hawkc’s Bay Health District, stationed at Palmers'on North, left yesterday to take lip a similar position in AVellington. She has been succeeded here by Miss M. Beswick, formerly stationed at New Plymouth.
After a number of seasons of strenuous competition, Miss Mona Lcydon, national middle-distance swimming champion, is-likely to announce her retirement this season. Her name was not entered for the Auckland - championships, and she stated that she does not intend to compete in the Now Zealand championsips, which will be held next month.
